Lion
Kindergarten
As a Lion, your kindergartner will make friends, laugh loud, gain confidence, discover nature, and most of all…have fun! They’ll experience the Scouting concepts of character development, leadership, citizenship, and personal fitness through engaging and exciting adventures!! Together, you’ll take their first steps down the path to success. Adventure awaits.

Bobcat
All grades
No matter what age or grade a child joins Cub Scouting, they must earn their Bobcat badge before advancing to another rank. Scouts will know and understand the Cub Scout motto, the Scout Oath, and the Scout Law; Show the Cub Scout sign, handshake, and salute, and tell what they mean.

Tiger
First Grade
First-graders join a Tiger den, where each scout works with an adult partner on the requirements to earn their Tiger badge.

Wolf
Second Grade
Second-graders graduate into a Wolf den. They go to weekly den meetings on their own, but their families still help them work on the requirements for the Wolf badge.

Bear
Third Grade
Third graders are members of a Bear den. They also work with their families to do the requirements for the Bear badge, but scouts this old have enough knowledge and skill to take on more of the work by themselves.

Webelo
Fourth Grade
Fourth graders are Webelos Scouts. Webelos Scouts do more advanced activities to get ready to graduate into Arrow of Light.

Arrow of Light
Fifth Grade
The highest rank in Cub Scouting is the Arrow of Light rank. You'll practice outdoor skills, get physically fit, and learn more about citizenship and working with others. All of these things prepare you for the next stage of Scouting.
Become a Scout Volunteer
Pack 61 cannot function without the wonderful volunteers and parents who support our activities and events. Volunteers do not need to be a parent of a scout -- our first Cub Master Doug Neice and his wife didn't have children of their own - but influenced the lives of thousands of cub scouts. Whether in little ways or big ways - the Pack needs your help.
